Many of my clients, myself included, have experienced the anniversary feelings of grief and sorrow over the holidays. Anniversary feelings can stay with us throughout the year and our lives. There are many reasons these sometimes debilitating feelings show up for us. We have to know that when they do, we can move from sorrow to peace. We are not our emotions. Here are some tips that I lovingly pass on to those of you who have difficulty making the shift to peace. They have worked well for me over the years and I invite you to try one or all of them. Remember, also that we are not our emotions. They flow through our energetic systems in waves and need to be released.
Accept the knowledge that your deceased loved one is aware of your sorrow and with you. Talk to them. Notice their loving energy, their appearance in your dreams, or any memories and feelings. How can you honor them? Where is the healing for you? Where is the healing for a situation? Know that when your loved one has passed into the afterlife, they are receiving healing and all that has been experienced in life has been healed with love. Look and feel into the heart space for insight.
Spend more time being quiet and in reflection.
Movement thru dance, walking meditations, and yoga, for example, help move the emotional energies through you emotional field which is the largest energy field around us, out and away from the physical body where they can settle into and cause you pain. Over time, this pain of grief can show up in the physical body as illness or disease if it is not released.
Look at your life in present time and observe how you can perhaps share your experiences and wisdom with another, or perhaps make their day better. Call a friend that you haven’t talked to in awhile, especially if they come up in your thoughts. This exchange of energy will lift your vibration and help you make the shift to energetically.

I ask the angels and guides to smooth out my day every morning and thank them for their loving devotion and assistance.
When you write or take part in any creative endeavor your vibrations are immediately raised to connect with your guidance. This in turn, will allow you to navigate through difficult times with grace.
I find that when I am willing to release the drama in life and let go, I begin to live in the present moment and everything becomes lighter, and easier.
